wholeplant vs. pharma, and why?

there's a growing move to plant medicine, but why, & what are the real pros & cons? #medicineperformance #medicinesafety #efficacy #plantmedicine #pharmaceuticalsafety

Before the 1930s, before pharmaceuticals were the third leading cause of death in America,

when local pharmacies still compounded medicines for their communities often per order, all medicines were plant based.

With the birth of biochemistry, these naturally occurring compounds were synthetically replicated, which lead to birth of the pharmaceutical giants, and to research and discovery of other molecular creations, which leads us to all of the prescription drugs available today.

But there were a couple big hiccups to the synthesizing process, as wonderfully pure and consistent as it sounded in the 1930s and 40s.

It somehow wasn't the same thing as the original plant versions. Synthesized pharmaceutical compounds often, if not almost always, came with potentially harmful side effects and a consistent absorption problem.

Additionally Pharmaceutical engineering increasingly had to 'trick' the digestive system into absorption. There wasn't a 'tolerance' problem, there was a blocked absorption problem, caused by unnaturally occurring compounds being restricted by the digestive lining.

Real originally bonded whole plant meds, made without extraction or the use of solvents, didn't do this, but the reason for this wasn't fully understood until quantum biochemistry came along and the world discovered that molecules- and medicines, didn't work quite like we thought.

Nature really wasn't a bunch of Lego blocks. As famous physicist Nikolai Tesla had stated, everything really was "energy, frequency and vibration".

But the challenge was how to collect a compound naturally occurring in nature into a consistent dose for millions of doses.

And that was a technology SKMS notably pioneered between 2015 and 2018 solely for the purpose of removing solvents from the process, with it's 'Zero Processed RSO' powder.

This was a molecularly unaltered whole plant concentrate mediated to uniformity for consistent dosage usability, and importantly for consistent performance- cannabinoid profile and symptom specific- meaning Pain, Anxiety, and many other symptoms could be consistently relieved, from dose to dose, person to person.

So why cannabis plant medicine vs. pharma options?

Well, aside from SKMS meds work, for most people, the first answer is an easy one: safety.

Ingested whole plant Cannabis is incapable of producing long term harmful side effects. It is non addictive. It not only does no cellular damage, it contributes to cellular healing. It does not leave the mind or the body in a worse state of health after cessation of use than it was before. In short, 'it is does no harm', something virtually no pharmaceutical drug can claim.

Often, such as with pediatric seizure or alternative cancer therapies, whole plant cannabinoids may be the only medicine which not only works but does not cause very serious long term side effects.

The second answer is a bigger one though. There are lots of medicinal plants- why cannabis?

Because all mammals have an endocannabinoid system, it heals us, from cellular health to system balancing, and guess what fuels it, prompts it to get to work?

Cannabinoids.

So for most people the reasons to consider real cannabis medicines over pharmaceutical options is simple: safety, efficacy (performance) and the ability to fuel our own body's healing systems.
