while sleep and stress can be a chicken and egg experience, real cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system know how to break the cycle. Naturally assist change in the mind & body's patterns to dramatically improve quality of life.
Any experience is less stressful, even more enjoyable, when rested, when calm, when optimistic.
Its hard to do that without enough sleep. And not enough sleep will create a propensity for anxiety and mental health challenges, which will cause getting enough sleep difficult. Its a chicken and egg cycle.
But don't feel caught on the gerbil wheel. There is a way off. Break the cycle. Read more to learn how.
First, it helps to have a regular sleep pattern, and most health experts agree, our bodies are based on the same rhythms as the rest of the planet. Sun rises, sun sets, and as do many of us mammals in a healthy normal rhythm. And in general, for health, and the way our systems function, its better to go to bed earlier, or closer to sunset, and get up earlier, or closer to sunrise. That's when we get the best rest, and the most cellular healing.
"Anxiety scores decreased within the first month in 57 patients (79.2%) and remained decreased during the study duration. Sleep scores improved within the first month in 48 patients (66.7%)"
- Pubmed: Cannabidiol in Anxiety and Sleep: A Large Case Series
But if we can get to sleep, and sleep well, tomorrow we wake feeling different.
And better rested, we experience life and feel and think differently about it. And then when we repeat this cycle, day after day, night after night- sleep well, and think calmer thoughts or just be calmer, until, what we couldn't do without enough sleep- diminish our anxiety- can happen.
That's also because of inflammation reduction- another job the endocannabinoid system is tasked with, and which is necessary to both muscle repair, and mental health, and it happens best when we are sleeping. Our brains, not just our muscles, build up inflammation as well. Partly why its literally harder to think when we are exhausted, and can contribute to us being more prone to emotional responses.
Diet (mostly the not so natural things we eat), therapy addressing healing from trauma, group interaction and connection, daily exercise (!) and accepted stress levels like jobs we choose to do, can also play a big role in maintaining good sleep and comfortable mental health from day to day.
Break the weak sleep patterns, find the way back to better days!
And if less anxiety during the day can help along the way to better sleep mental health recovery- we can help with that too. Its all about the neural pathways, and plant medicine has a remarkable ability to help the body safely find its way back to natural original rhythms, better for well being, happiness and the body's systemic health.
