An exploration of cannabinoid profile variations in Landrace strains growing in a controlled outdoor stress test this summer at the new SKMS facility in coastal Maine.
SKMS staff expect both cannabinoid profile and terpene content to likely increase, possibly in some key healing parameters in this sunlight and organic soil driven display of ancient strains unlike any growing in the states!
The methods required to produce consistent medicines go from encapsulation methods all the way back to the seed going in the soil.
Nature has variation- there is no avoiding it, but how we understand this and incorporate the magic of healing that the natural, even environmentally influenced variation can actually provide, or is uniquely able to provide, is key to providing not just medicines which relieve or heal, but do it consistently from dosage to dosage and person to person.
45° nights and 85° afternoons certainly are bringing some amazing aromas to the air and are the kind of natural environmental stress these ancient Mountain landraces remember!
SKMS look forward to both the ISO testing and patient feedback in the Maine Medical program from this experiment in summer of 2024 on the coast of Maine. Information gathered in this experiment will help the pursuit of better SKMS capsule meds, something that has changed a whole lot of lives since 2014!
