Cannabis & Psychosis Risk: not what they thought

science is in and it may surprise you, or it definitely would've surprised Nancy.. #cannabis #cannabisandmentalhealth #pediatricmentalhealth #psychosis #mentalhealth #endocannabinoidsystem

Since the Reagan administration and before, Cannabis has been labeled as an increased risk for mental health symptoms, especially among those considered 'at high risk'.

" youth who continuously used cannabis had higher neurocognition and social functioning over time, and decreased medication usage, relative to non-users. Surprisingly, clinical symptoms improved over time despite the medication decreases."
